INHALT
Eine Nacht mit dem Pensionisten Karl im alten Wiener Strizzi- und Beisl-Milieu zeigt einen Blick auf eine verblassende Welt, deren Figuren ihrem Unglück nicht entkommen können.
Der Pensionist und Alt-Strizzi Karl verbringt die Nacht in seinen ausgestorbenen Lieblingslokalen und muss die Vergänglichkeit/Endlichkeit seiner Welt feststellen. Früher waren es Orte des Zusammenkommens, wo viele Geschichte entstanden, an dem das Scheitern erlaubt war, an dem der Wiener sich mit seinem Schicksal versöhnt. Doch nun sitzt Karl alleine hinter seinem Glas. Auch seine Wegbegleiter kämpfen sich mit der Last des Unglücks durch die Nacht - immer mit dem Bewusstsein, dass sie diesem nicht entrinnen können. Als Karl den betrunkenen Leo in sein Stammlokal mitnimmt, eskaliert die Situation. Leo schlägt die Prostituierte Julie blutig und zerstört ihre Hoffnung aus diesem Unglück auszubrechen. Karl muss handeln und begeht einen Mord, um doch nicht in Vergessenheit zu geraten. Ein Film über die Veränderung einer Welt und den Umgang damit, wenn es doch keine Perspektive gibt.
